Stolen Antique Gates Returned in Baltimore
The Baltimore Sun recently reported that the cast iron gates of the Institute of Notre Dame
in East Baltimore were stolen, but later recovered at a local Antique Shop. Seems the perpetrators were seen by a former student,
wheeling the gates in a grocery cart. Police then checked area pawn and antique shops and found the gates at Mel’s Antiques
on E. Lombard Street. An arrest warrant was issued for for the suspects in the case.
